The AVMatrix Thunderbolt box system is a smart modular box setup which allows you to daisy-chain any of its selection of individual modules together using Thunderbolt cables to create an adaptable conversion and capture workflow.

The principle at work is that you can add boxes into your system depending on the specific requirement of the current workflow, then - if the workflow changes - you can swap out one of the boxes for a more suitable one.

Using Thunderbolt cables, all boxes will inter-operate, meaning that you will create a dataflow path using  the Thunderbolt output from one box to the Thunderbolt input of another box.

Once you have reached the last stage of your workflow, each separate box has playout connectivity (HDMI / SDI / USB 3) that you can plug through to a playout device - be that a screen or a recording device.

It's a versatile system that can be used with a host of operating system and end-stage capture devices such as OBS, VLC, Teams, and Zoom to create a rugged, solid video workflow.
