The RM-0208/S is a new monitoring innovation from Lilliput, allowing for the separate monitoring of 8 individual SDI feeds on one 19" 1RU rackmount monitor unit. It features an SDI equalization re-clocking and equalization function, meaning that you can run the signal from the source to the monitor of longer cable lengths and the monitor will effectively reboost the signal for onward usage.

RM-0208S Schematics

Multiple functions can be controlled by the unit over a RS422 Smart Control system using relevant software:-

Audio Level meters provide numerical indicators and headroom levels. Activated using DIP switches located on the back of the unit, the RM-0208S can generate accurate audio level displays during monitoring (to help prevent errors), and supports 2 tracks under SDI mode. 

The RM-0208S supports Linear Time code and Vertical Interval Time Code formats. The time code displayed on the Lilliput monitor will be synchronised with the one on a Full HD camcorder - helping to identify specific frames in film and video productions during shooting and live editing.

UMD Character Sending allows you to send 32 half-size characters of text to any one of the monitor screens - allowing for easy tagging and identification of video streams.
